Following the government’s recent update regarding essential and non-essential retail we can confirm that many of The Royal Exchange shops, cafes and restaurants are now making plans to re-open, with some cafes & restaurants already open for collection or deliveries.

All stores are required to ensure systems are in place for the safety of customers and staff, including social distancing measures such as signage, floor markings, Perspex screens at tills, plus hand sanitiser.

The Royal Exchange is working closely with retailers as well as city centre management teams as we all continue to follow government guidelines to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
